When ION was newly opened, there's always a long queue outside this restaurant... J and I happened to pass by one day, surprised to see the queue has finally "shortened", and we decided that it was time for us to step in and try if it's really worth queueing for?

butter corn ramen on top and spicy miso ramen below...hope I got the names right, didn't take down and kinda forgotten what it was :P

Was here the second time with hubby... 

his seafood ramen...

and my char siew ramen...

On the whole, I prefer this to Ajisen, and it did remind me of the taste of the ramen I had in Hokkaido :)

Dinner with mum and hubbs at crystal jade...

fried hor fun wth prawns...sharing with mum as we had coffee earlier and still quite full :P

hubby's sheng mian with beef curry!

really unique dish .... taste quite nice according to him... :P

side dish....fried sotong...very crispy n nice

our horfun...prawns are fresh n sweet! but the horfun was a little plain though...

hubby's main course.....his favourite unagi!

and here comes our first special item....scallops on rice, topped with mentako...

the small little brown bits surrounding the rice are flavoured with curry powder.. taste like rice crackers..

and the second special item....fried chicken made into two hearts...so cute :)

the mentako paste on top is....superb! :P but the chicken was a tad too oily for me...

It's the third day of CNY... we arrived at Vivocity to try strolling across the new Sentosa boardwalk, and visit the yearly spring flower event at Sentosa.


Prior to setting off.... it's lunchtime :)

Starter...creamy chicken soup, toast and coffee

The cheesey chicken wing looks yummy... try next time :P

and here comes the long awaited.....beef steak! hubby loves it rare...hahaa
